AvantiGas team celebrates rural business at regional awards
As part of the ongoing support of rural communities and the British countryside, AvantiGas presented two accolades at the Rural Business Awards for the Midlands and East.
The awards, which are held annually, celebrate the best businesses that operate across the rural landscape. Chui Green, Technical Sales Manager and Chris Georgiou, Midlands Sales Manager presented the Midlands Best Rural Food Business Award to A Little Bit, while Gavin Morris, Aerosol and Export Manager and Richard Paynter, East of England Sales Manager, presented the Rural Social Enterprise award for the East to Creative Arts East.
Each awards ceremony celebrates small and large achievements made by companies of all sizes and operating in a range of sectors – all whilst acknowledging the breadth and depth of opportunity presented by the British countryside.
Founded in late 2014 by Jemma Clifford and Anna Price, the first awards were presented in October 2015. Growing year upon year, this year’s awards look set to be the biggest yet, with global online retailer, Amazon, sponsoring.
This year 13 awards will be presented with winners chosen by an independent panel of judges drawn from the rural business sector, official agencies and rural charitable organisations.
