Reliability and flexibility have been key as the park expanded and as requirements and expectations changed. Andrew again: “We understand that people’s perception of food and drink is ever-changing and the demands are becoming higher all the time with different allergens and things like that and it’s important that we cater for them. We constantly introduce new concepts to meet their requirements.”
The result of all their efforts has been happy customers. Paultons Park has been rated the UK’s number one family theme park three years running in the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice awards.
The park aims mainly at younger children, and seeing their reactions to Peppa Pig and her friends is one of things Andrew most enjoys about his role: “It’s fantastic. The children love it. I think that’s one of the best things about the job really, seeing the children’s faces and knowing that you’ve had a part to play in that.” AvantiGas is delighted to play a small part in that too.
