Lost your meter box key? No problem

If you have lost your meter box key, contact us to request a new key which will be sent in the post within 5 working days.

To submit a Meter Reading, simply go to MyAvantiGas portal and enter it. If you haven’t registered for the portal and would like to, please click here.

Alternatively, contact our customer service team on 0808 208 0000.

If you have an above ground tank, there should be an AvantiGas sticker on the side.
If you have an underground tank, this should be located on the inside of the lid.

BioLPG is a by-product of biodiesel production (HVO), which is extracted from residual products from sustainable raw materials such as animal fat and vegetable oils. The BioLPG is then part of the refinery's production process. The production of bioLPG supported by AvantiGas does not contain palm oil or Palm Fatty Acid Distillate.

The tank contains the LPG you already know - but you will receive a certificate responding to the volume of CO₂ saved.

By supporting the production of BioLPG we get real access to CO₂ reduction via certificates. The environmental gain is certified by an independent third party. The production of bioLPG reduces CO₂ emissions by up to 95% compared to traditional LPG production.

The calculation is done according to the WTW (Well-to-Wheel) principle, where the amount of CO₂ emissions is calculated for the entire chain - from the production of the raw materials to the combustion of the final product.

By supporting the production of BioLPG we get access to CO₂ savings. We offset 100% of your volume and you’ll receive a certificate stating the amount of CO₂ saved, with the certification process and environmental savings certified by an independent third party.  

We’re changing account numbers for no reason other than to align our internal processes. By changing your account number, our internal systems can be uniform using one common customer number. 

Yes, your old statements are still relevant and your previous customer number will still be known by ourselves. However, any communications moving forward will have your new account number. 

Your new account number should start with 000 and can be found on your latest invoice or payment reminder. Please be mindful of not copying and pasting this number direct to the portal, the formatting can change which can lead to your account number being unrecognised.

Your new account number can be found on any account related email or paper correspondence you’ve received from us since the 6^th of December, this includes invoices, payment reminders etc.

In an emergency - for any outdoor gas leak or major fire please contact AvantiGas on 0808 178 2009 in the case of a fire call 999 notifying them that the fire involves LPG

If you are a metered customer, you will receive an invoice every quarter of the year (March, June, September, December).

At the beginning of each quarter, Morrison Data Services will come to your property on our 
behalf to gather a reading. Please make sure that your meter box is accessible, if a reading cannot be gained you will be notified of this. We will need you to send us a photograph of your meter for us to generate an invoice. 

If you are moving in to a property supplied by AvantiGas or moving out of a property and would like to enquire about an LPG quote there’s no need to worry.

Moving Home

Ownership of the Tank: Whilst AvantiGas own the tank on your property, please be aware that all pipework beyond the first stage regulator will be your responsibility once your tank has been installed.

If you are a forecasted customer, your delivery will be with you in good time, you can view your stock dates on your AvantiGas MyAccount.
Once you have signed up, you’ll be able to find details of your delivery there. If you are on our manual delivery service, we endeavour to deliver to you between 10-15 working days.

Your delivery will be with you within 7-10 working days. If you are concerned about your delivery, please only contact us if you have exceeded 15 working days from the date your order was placed.

If you’re on our forecasted service, then there is no need to worry. We take care of your gas 
by using intelligent alerts that accurately predict when you’re due a delivery. Building a profile of your usage that’s unique to you. All we ask is that your provice regular gauge reading updates.
 If you're on our manual service, you need to check your vessel on a regular basis and place your orders when your gauge reaches 25%.
