Leading LPG supplier, AvantiGas, is no stranger to community projects, but its latest partnership is set to release the company’s creative juices.
The LPG company, which has a strong presence in the East of England, supplying off-grid homes and businesses, has partnered with Creative Arts East, in a bid to help elevate the inspired artistic charity and increase awareness in the area.
With a strong focus on bringing the very best arts and cultural activities to rural and/or under-engaged communities in order to increasing the health, vitality, skills and aspirations of the rural residents within them, the charity is the perfect fit for AvantiGas as it strives to give back to the community areas in which it operates.
Phoebe Munday, Marketing Executive at AvantiGas, said, “We’re committed to investing in our community areas and working with organisations that make a big difference to the people that live there. Rural living can be lonely for some people so we’re looking forward to investing in an initiative that brings people together.”
Creative Arts East was founded in 1994 and since its inception has established itself as a key part of the rural landscape, enabling more than 30,000 ticket buyers and participants through over 600 events and workshops in 100+ rural village halls, pubs and schools across the area every year. The charity operates in the East of England, bringing together people from all walks of life through a celebration of performance art and cinema, with a vision for culturally vibrant, connected and motivated rural communities.
Activities include: Creative Arts East Screen, a community cinema scheme that provides support and resources for quality film screenings in village venues; Creative Arts East Live!, community touring of professional live performance; and a wide portfolio of participatory arts projects that are aimed at improving the health or skills of rural residents across the region.
Speaking about the partnership, Natalie Jode, Executive Director at Creative Arts East, commented, “We are delighted to announce AvantiGas as our first corporate partner and welcome them into the Creative Arts East family. Their energy and enthusiasm for our work really shone through and we’re excited to get this partnership started so we can learn from one another over the next year and beyond.”
The partnership comes at the end of another successful year for the company. Having continued to grow its LPG business – particularly within the domestic sector – it has also seen its cylinder and mains gas offerings flourish in the competitive market.
