Arranging deliveries
- You must notify us when your tank gauge reaches 25%, and don’t provide us with inaccurate gauge readings. Unsure how to read your gauge click here
- If requested by AvantiGas, you must provide us with a gauge reading
Preparing for deliveries
- Ensure our drivers have access to the LPG installation and a safe unloading site
- Don’t fit your own lock to the cover as this will prevent our drivers being able to deliver, or our engineers from carrying our inspection work
- We can let you know your delivery date, just sign up for our friendly notification the day before we attempt to deliver
Your account
- Pay your bill on time as per your agreement
- Monitor your account balance
- If your agreement is to pay by Direct Debit, maintain the DD instruction and let us know if your account details change
Keep us informed
- Make sure we have your current contact details; telephone, mobile, email etc.
- Inform us if you’re moving house
- Let us know if there are any changes to your LPG consumption, for example any significant external changes like a building extension
Area around the LPG installation
- Follow safety guidelines and comply with all our reasonable instructions relating to the storage and use of LPG
- Keep the tank clean and the area clear of vegetation, rubbish and flammable materials. Please click here
- You must not interfere with the signage or paint the tank. AvantiGas own the installation and both are safety measures. The signage helps the emergency services in the unlikely event of an issue, and the paint type and colour reflects the sun helping the tank to stay cool.
- If you have metallic underground pipework connecting the LPG vessel to your property, make sure this is safe. If you’re unsure you can do an online check on the LPG industry website here
