A.J. Forster & Sons is an integrated family-run poultry farm based in Penrith, Cumbria. The farm rears some 3,500,000 chicks per year and has used LPG from AvantiGas since it opened for business in 1974.

"When we started we identified AvantiGas as our preferred supplier simply because it was a cheaper option than oil for heating the chicken sheds," Says Mary Forster, the company's founder.

But the relationship has prospered over the years to the extent the strength of the relationship and the level of service has dramatically exceeded cost as the number one factor in the purchasing decision.

"The relationship is so valuable that we've never thought of changing. We have an excellent working relationship with AvantiGas and we always have had. We work together with AvantiGas and I find AvantiGas works very well with us."
